RYP is having a volunteer event at InterVol. The RUMS project, or the Recycling of Unused Medical Supplies is a sorting of supplies for use in third world countries. InterVol has been and continues to be actively involved in providing needed medical supplies to assist in the crisis in Haiti.
Volunteers are needed to sort items such as gauze, exam gloves, gowns and catheters. No medical knowledge is necessary. This project helps to reduce the waste that ends up in landfills while helping world citizens in need. InterVol has been and continues to be actively involved in providing needed medical supplies to assist in the crisis in Haiti. This is a great way to give back while meeting other young professionals.
